Welcome to the all new Trewsville Southern Railroad

About the Trewsville Southern

Hello, my name is Jason Trew and I happen to be the President and CEO of the Trewsville Southern Railroad, me and my team of fellow model railroaders would love to welcome you to our site.  The Trewsville Southern started back in 1997 as the Chessie System Allegheny Southern Railroad and was changed in 2008 as the Trewsville Southern, since then the TVS has grown to become a majot player interchanging with Southern Railway and the Seaboard System Railroad.

Layout updates

Since 2020, the Trewsville Soutehrn has been working ever so hard in getting a new model railroad built, and the fruits of that labor as started to pay off.

With that, all that is left to knock out is trees and minor details, The TVS is greatful to thank the following in helping it rise from the ashes like a phoenix: Walthers, Arcy DVD & Hobby and Hobbytown USA.

What's new on the TVS??

Currently the TVS had to build a new section of railroad, the current model railroad is 12 feet by 18 inches and has been under construction since 2020.  Please stay tuned to see what's happening in future updates or check us out on Facebook.

About the first version of the TVS

I might not want a large amount of text on my home page if I want to guide visitors toward my other pages. Instead of text, I can add photos or interesting links. One of the first things I would want to do is choose a template that reflects what my site is all about. Colors and themes are a great way to reinforce the message and purpose of my site.

Behind the Scenes of My Home Page

Even if I don't put much text on my home page, it's a good idea to include hidden tools that will help me promote my site, so people other than my friends and family actually see it. For example, I could add meta tags, which are hidden codes that allow search engines to find my site. I could also install stats and a counter so I know how many people are visiting. If not many are visiting, submitting my site to search engines will guide more traffic to my site.

Please note that this is a model railroad and not a real railroad and I'm just doing this for fun
